We are utilizing the following income level guidelines to establish “low income” as outlined in the 2007 California Budget Project Study:

We will not contribute to medically unnecessary procedures, animal boarding, or cosmetic procedures (such as ear docking).
Previous procedures, with outstanding debt, or pending procedures will be considered as long as the payment goes directly to the veterinarian- not a credit card. These include:
Spay/Neuter
Vaccinations
Emergency Medical Costs (if payment is pending post care)
Medically Necessary Surgery
Injury
Other Medical Conditions
We will not cover the cost of ongoing medications or continuous care. Aid from the organization will be limited to two applications per individual per calendar year. Payment must go to directly to the veterinarian.
You must be over 18 years of age and the animal must belong to you.
